Overview

Jump in! Ballet Fantastique's Adult Ballet Program with BFan company dancer and college-educated dance teacher Leanne Mizzoni features Ballet Fantastique's beautiful dance studios, learning at your own pace, and a fun and motivated atmosphere.

General Info

  • What to Wear: Come comfortable! Relaxed dress code. CCD provides a spacious dressing room for your convenience.
  • Locations/Parking: CCD is the City Center for Dance Studio, 960 Oak. Annex is the Annex Studio, 60 E. 10th Ave. Both beautiful studios are located in downtown Eugene, with parking above in the Oak Street Overpark. Parking is free on evenings and weekends, and for the first hour.
  • Drop-Ins/Class Cards: Drop ins are welcome, but get a class card for the best deal! Class cards: 10-class card $150, 20-class card (best value) $240. Individual drop-in class $20. Please be prepared to pay with cash or check. Thanks!
  • Recommended: Registration Form (required for all classes, even drop-ins--forms are also available at the studio)

NEW! Stretch/Abs/Conditioning

Build core strength, flexibility, and muscle tone with Pilates-based exercises. This class produces great effects for dancers and non-dancers (parents, you too!) alike.

  • Saturdays: 1:30-2 pm (CCD)
  • Individual drop-in class $10, or use your Adult Ballet Program class card (see rates above)
  • Note: Bring a Pilates mat or large towel

Beginning/Intermediate Drop-In Adult Classes

Challenge your mind and body, get in shape, and feel great! Ballet is good for every body. See true gains in your physical fitness, flexibility, and fundamental ballet vocabulary and technique—without getting overwhelmed. Especially for those who have had some dance training, these classes focus on clear technique, alignment, and clarity and control. Stellar instruction—Learn real classical dance technique, in a way that makes sense and doesn’t cut corners; Limited class size—Ask questions and develop more confidence with personal attention; Motivated atmosphere—Be inspired! Focus and grow your dance and fitness goals, at your own pace; Fun and convenient—Get in shape with drop-in classes that fit with your schedule, conveniently located at the beautiful Ballet Fantastique studios in downtown Eugene. Classes are designed to promote excellent, clear technique, along with physical strength, flexibility, and alignment, and more advanced concepts of ballet are introduced. Individual and group correction and instructions are given, and questions are encouraged.

  • Mondays/Wednesdays: 9:30 am-10:45 am (CCD)
  • Tuesdays: 7:00-8:30 pm (Annex)
  • Saturdays: 9:30 am-11:00 am (CCD)
