Class Attire/Guidelines

Ballet Brilliante • Accelerated Beginning

Girls’ Class Uniform

Note: No warm-ups, jewelry, or skirts to be worn in class

• Black or pink leotard
• Footed Ballet Pink tights
• Pink split-sole ballet slippers (canvas or leather) with elastic and ribbons.
• Hair: Neat ballet bun with hair pulled off the neck, and bangs pinned straight back
• Waist elastic (PINK)—included in Ballet Fantastique Registration Fee
• Performances: Theatrical Pink tights (check with Artistic Director)

Boys’ Class Uniform

• White cap-sleeve leotard
• Black tights
• White split-sole ballet slippers with elastic (white socks)

Ballet Bravo • Intermediate and Ballet Concerto • Advanced

Note: Dancers should have a Pilates mat for Conditioning Classes/Floor Barre, and a notebook for taking notes about choreography, corrections, etc.

Girls’ Class Uniform

Note: Warm-ups or skirts to be worn only during warm-up exercises (BFan ankle warmers only, please—included in your Registration Fee). No jewelry.

• Solid-color leotard
• Convertible Ballet Pink tights
• Pink split-sole ballet slippers (canvas or leather)
• Pointe shoes (fitted by a dance professional, and worn with Artistic Director approval only) with elastic and ribbons
• Hair: Neat ballet bun with hair pulled off the neck, and bangs pinned straight back off the forehead
• Waist elastic BLUE or LAVENDAR (according to level)—included in Ballet Fantastique Registration Fee
• Performances: Capezio European Pink tights with seam; nude under-costume camisole leotard
• Pointe/Variations, Demonstrations, Exams: Short black ballet skirt (10–12”)

Boys’ Class Uniform

• White cap-sleeve leotard
• Gray or black tights
• White split-sole ballet slippers with elastic (white socks)
