Cinderella Dance Camp (ages 4 & up)

Learn about the famous fairytale ballet story Cinderella and dance all week! Finish off your magical experience with a performance for family and friends, complete with costumes, a field trip, stage make-up, and a visit from a real Ballet Fantastique ballerina! The joys of creative motion, an introduction to the fundamentals of both movement and classical dance technique--all while we learn about the story of Cinderella and its fun fairytale characters with engaging, experienced teacher Ms. Hannah! Small class sizes and Ballet Fantastique's professional dance floor protect children from stress and injury. Prior dance experience is welcome, but not necessary. Each camp day will begin with a 45-minute dance class, followed by a learning activity, healthy snack, another dance/rehearsal, and fun craft! Brilliante Workshop Intensive: Ballet Boot Camp (ages 7-10 by placement audition)

Young dancers reach their top learning potential with our stellar teachers, small class sizes and creative, focused atmosphere. In the Brilliante Workshop Intensive, Ballet Fantastique will inspire you to reach your dancing dreams! Begin to learn what it means to dance like a pro. Ballet Fantastique's Beginning Ballet Intensive includes: four intensive ballet training lessons per week (Level I of the Vaganova Training Syllabus), Ballet Conditioning to stretch and strengthen, field trips, rehearsals for a simple variation, and tips from real professional dancers who study and dance at Ballet Fantastique. This ballet “boot camp” will be challenging, but lots of fun, and a good way to find out if real ballet is right for you. Prior ballet experience is highly recommended. This Workshop prepares dancers for the year-round training program at The Academy of Ballet Fantastique.

When: Monday-Thursday, July 12-August 5 (9–10:30 am)/4 weeks

Weekly Rising Stars Classes (ages 4-7)

Discover the joys of dance and creative movement in The Academy of Ballet Fantastique's wonderful Rising Stars class for children ages 4 through 7. This class includes progressive learning in music, fundamental dance and movement concepts, spatial awareness, and so much more! Ballet Fantastique's program is tons of fun, with limited class sizes and stellar, expert teachers who not only know how to dance, they also know how to engage the minds and imaginations of young children. During the school year, our Rising Stars class regularly has a waiting list, so don't wait to register!

When: Wednesday afternoons, July 7-August 11 (4:30-5:15 pm)/6 weeks
