City Center for Dance Project

Ballet Fantastique was founded ten years ago here in Eugene and over the years has become a vibrant and vital part of our downtown's cultural fabric. Currently, we work out of a beautiful 1,000 square foot studio located at 60 E. 10th Avenue, which we have occupied since day one. But we desperately need more space--and we want you to be part of it.

In September 2010, we will open a beautiful new City Center for Dance on the corner of 10th and Oak, anchoring the east end of the City Council's new planned downtown Arts and Theater District.

We realize that this is a big project, but it's also one that we need: After growing for 10 years every hour of the day is filled with classes at capacity, and our storage room (with tutus piled to the ceiling) is also our administrative space, office, and cleaning closet!

This is where you come in

As Eugene native, Ballet Fantastique knows all about the rain we get here--billions of raindrops that together make our city one of the most green and verdant and alive there is! 

And thus, in the spirit of many raindrops coming together, we want to ask you to make a "raindrop" contribution to our new dance center.

A raindrop contribution might be a million dollars or a grand piano if you have it, but it might also be $15 or $25.  It's a contribution in any amount or form that you are able to give.

With every flower that comes out in our beautiful city over the next few months, we want you to remember the raindrops that helped make it possible. We promise to remember you in the same way. We will remember you every time we see the look of triumph on a dancer's face in our beautiful new studio, every time we see someone learning to love dance, every time someone takes our hand to thank us for touching their heart.
