Ballet Fantastique accepts Northwest, national, and international ballet company audition applications throughout the year for company and apprentice positions. We seek dancers with strong technical proficiency and powerful artistry, who want to continue to grow and challenge themselves both as individuals and as part of our "team." A Vaganova background is a plus, though not required.

As you know, we are a small company and every dancer on our roster accordingly plays an important role in our identity. We want to know who you are, what you have to contribute, and why you want to dance with us! Here's what we need from you:

Company Class Auditions

  • Resume with brief cover letter introducing yourself. Be sure to list variations you have performed as a student dancer and (if available) a professional on your resume.
  • Completed Ballet Fantastique Audition Form.
  • Dance photo (full-body; pose of your choice) and headshot photo.
  • Contact us » to schedule your company class audition and informal interview with Artistic Director Donna Marisa Bontrager.

DVD Audition Applications

Audition application materials will not be returned.

Submitting applications electronically: In the interest of our environment, we welcome you to email your resume, cover letter, and Ballet Fantastique Audition Application Form, and to post your audition video online (e.g., on YouTube).
