Ballet Fantastique's 2010-2011 Hult Center concert season is full of sizzle and spice! Three performances, seven dancers, and the beautifully-intimate Soreng Theater. All performances feature live musicians on stage with our dancers.

HULT CONCERT SEASON
Nov 20-21: String Theory
Sophisticated sights. Vibrant string pieces, new and beloved. Live cello, violin, piano, saxophone, and more. Guest artists from Russia. Powerful, electrically-beautiful dancing from Ballet Fantastique.
Jan 29-30: Bossa Brasil
Warm your winter. Intoxicating color, swaying rhythm, and vibrant visions of Brazil. (Makes a great holiday gift, too.)
April 16: As You Like It
A smashing, first-time-ever ballet premiere of one of Shakespeare's sweetest romantic comedies. A live bluegrass orchestra, energetic dancing, and Western theme give this story a playful and provocative re-imagining.
OPEN BARRE SERIES
An intimate taste of the best of the Northwest! Join the Ballet Fantastique dancers, choreographers, and musicians at Ballet Fantastique's beautiful new downtown City Center for Dance (960 Oak St) on selected Wednesdays or Thursdays throughout the season for a behind-the-scenes open rehearsal preview of new performance premieres in progress, plus tastings of area coffee or microbrew/wine (featured partner roasters/wineries/breweries TBA). $5 for rehearsal only, $10 for beverage and rehearsal. Note: Ballet Fantastique Season Subscribers » receive a free Open Barre Season Pass! (Otherwise, admission is at the door.)

Ballet Fantastique knows how to throw a party! Join us throughout the season for fun and great causes.
Friday, September 10 beginning at 8:15 am: First Annual Golf Tournament
Please join us for Ballet Fantastique's First Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser at the beautiful River Ridge Golf Course in Eugene! Come alone or bring a team -- every dollar in proceeds from this event directly sponsors scholarships for talented young dancers in need. It's a day of fun for a great cause: kids who would not otherwise be able to study dance.
Sunday, September 12 from 9 am-4 pm: Open Studio at the new City Center for Dance
Tour Ballet Fantastique's new City Center for Dance (960 Oak Street), sign up for classes or buy season tickets, and enjoy light refreshments and live music. Free.
Saturday, October 6 from 8 pm-midnight: Debut Fantastique: GATSBY
An excuse for grown-ups to have a little fun around Halloween, finally. Decidedly Gatsby attire (what does “Roaring 20's” mean to you?). Great cause. Eat, cocktail, dress up, dance, mingle, enjoy.
