Repertoire & Collaborations

Ballet Fantastique prides itself in our ability to keep classical ballet vibrantly alive, while remaining on the frontier of dance in our innovation of new work that is simultaneously compelling and evocative. Our dancers demonstrate a sophisticated artistry that comes out of a strong background in classical ballet training.

Repertory is created especially for the Chamber Company by professional choreographers or selected from such classical ballet favorites as The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Don Quixote, Le Corsaire, and The Nutcracker. New works choreographed include The Cakewalk Ballet, variations set to Handel’s Water Music and Chopin waltzes, and various other original pieces that encompass a wide range of musical styles and movement vocabularies.

Ballet Fantastique’s performance productions are professionally modeled, and specifically geared for the performance theme and target audience. Although much of our work takes place in formal educational settings, this is by no means exclusive. We offer programs for all sectors of the community, including young people, adults, and family groups.
