A young attendee sparkles at “Cakewalk Ballet.” Free children’s admission to the professional Ballet Fantastique performance was made possible through the EXPERIENCE DANCE! Project and grant support from Lane Arts Council

Ballet Fantastique dancers teach hand positions to kids at an EXPERIENCE DANCE! Project event, Nov. 2006.

Ballet Fantastique consistently provides compelling, evocative classical productions of the highest artistic caliber that merit productions with such world-class organizations as the Eugene Symphony (Tchaikovsky Festival, January 2005). Through our Education and Outreach program, and with the support of our Community Partners, we bring these high-quality productions to everyone in our community in engaging, innovative ways.

Subsidized Concert Admission
Affordable pricing for our performances is key and ensures that we continue to develop new audiences, maintaining an enthusiastic and dedicated following for our work. Additionally, we often offer a number of subsidized tickets for low-income community members.

Experience Dance! Project
This series of interactive School Matinee presentations is linked with an innovative collaboration with Traduza Dance Company at the Hult Center. This ambitious project is the highlight of our 2005-06 Performance Season, and will reach over 3,000 community members of all ages, backgrounds, and means. More information on the Experience Dance! Project

Professional Dancer Development Program
Giving area dancers local, professionally modeled training and performance programs and outlets for their talent is imperative to keeping the arts vibrantly alive in our community. As part of our non-profit mission, Ballet Fantastique offers Professional Master Classes three times weekly on a sliding fee scale. Interactive Lectures and Demonstrations
Informative, engaging lecture demonstrations include short dance concerts and accompanying background or context information. They are specifically tailored to the particular interests of the group, organization, or event.

Residencies
Long-term residencies for individual groups or organizations are tailored to individual needs and may culminate in community performances or choreographic workshops.

Internships
Ballet Fantastique offers internships tailored toward students' personal learning goals and centered on practical opportunities for participants to experiment with ideas while building resources for future careers in the arts. More information on Internships
