Emilia is from Miami, Florida. She was trained by Aida Villoch, former Artistic Director and Prima Ballerina of the Ballet de Camagüey, Cuba. At age 13, Emilia was accepted and attended full time The Sarasota Cuban Ballet School in Sarasota, Florida, where she had the privilege to work with National Ballet of Cuba's Dr. Ramona de Saa and Ana Julia Bermudez de Castro. She performed variations from ballets including Flames of Paris, Harlequinade, Paquita, La Fille Mal Gardee, The Nutcracker and Le Corsaire that have placed her in the Top 12 at Youth American Grand Prix, Universal Ballet Competition, and World Ballet Competition. Emilia has received full scholarships to summer programs including American Ballet Theatre and Dance Theatre of Harlem. This is Emilia’s first season with Ballet Fantastique.
