Meet ANA

VITA

Ana grew up training at Ballet West Academy under Jennie Creer-King and attended summers at Houston Ballet, the University of Utah, and Ballet Arizona. She graduated from Brigham Young University earning a BFA in Dance on both academic and ballet scholarships. With BYU’s touring group, Theatre Ballet, she was able to perform George Balanchine’s Serenade, Gerald Arpino’s Confetti, Swan Lake, and Giselle. She choreographed multiple original works for BYU Ballet Showcase company, and recently had the pleasure of seeing her work Illaudatus selected to be presented at The Ballet Alliance Festival. With Ballet Fantastique, Ana has been featured as Naughty Doll in Babes in Toyland (featuring Swing Shift Jazz Orchestra) and originated the role of Cecily, little sister to Little John in the world premiere of Robin Hood & Maid Marian (live music: Nottingham).

Ana enjoys fostering the love of dance in young students. Whether they pursue dance professionally or recreationally, she believes that studying dance makes for happier and more creative people. She strives to create a safe environment where dancers are free to try new challenges.
