Brooke began her dance training at Spokane Academy of Dance, under direction of Kristen Potts. She competed in MusicFest Northwest, receiving consecutive gold medals for ballet under the adjudication of Sasha Yaparov, Anna-Marie Holmes, and Jennie Creer-King. Brooke attended summer intensives at Fort Wayne Ballet and University of Utah on merit-based scholarships. Brooke graduated from Gonzaga University with her BA in Dance, where she studied dance performance and pedagogy. With Gonzaga’s Dance Program, Brooke worked with Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Kyle Davis, where she performed an original solo set to Tchaikovsky’s Theme and Variations. In 2021, Brooke performed the “Spring Waters” pas de deux with Ben Tucker of Oklahoma City Ballet. Along with being selected to dance with Gonzaga University’s Repertory Dance Company and Ballet Ensemble, Brooke was also chosen to perform as a dancer in Orpheus and Eurydice with Inland Northwest Opera. Brooke has also worked as a guest artist with Ballethnic and #instaballet.
Brooke joined Ballet Fantastique in 2022 as Company Corps and was promoted to Artist in 2023 and Soloist in 2024. With BFan, Brooke has performed in a number of productions, including at home and on tour, including originating roles of The Entertainer* in Robin Hood & Maid Marian (with Nottingham, world premiere, 2023) and and The Understudy* in Murder at the Ballet (original music by Juan Luqui, world premiere 2024). Brooke has been featured in BFan roles including: Christmas Past (with Grammy®-nominated Halie Loren, 2024); The Caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland (to the music of High Step Society, 2024); Stepsister Stasia in Cinderella: The Rock Opera (with Shelley & Cal & the Agents of Unity, 2024), and more (see full list of featured roles, below).
Brooke has been teaching ballet, jazz, and conditioning classes for children and adults since 2016. She holds a degree in Dance Pedagogy from Gonzaga University and has taught at the Gonzaga University Ballet Summer Intensive, as well many studios throughout the Northwest. Brooke's lifelong passion for performing inspires her growing love to teach others dance and create community amongst like-minded artists.
