Ballet Fantastique’s one-of-a-kind dance classes, ballet lessons, and storybook summer dance camps in Eugene for children ages 2-12 grows out of creative play teach kids to express ideas and concepts—while empowering students with flexibility, rhythm, body coordination, artistic expression, and self-confidence! Academy of Ballet Fantastique students are invited to perform throughout the year.

NEW: Baby Steps Ballet (ages 12 months-2.5 years)
Designed to support healthy brain and body development while creating a warm, predictable rhythm week after week, Baby Steps Ballet is the perfect first experience for little ones to explore movement, music, and creativity in Ballet Fantastique’s caring studio setting.

Bitsy Ballet (ages 2-3)
Magic, fun and movement. Especially designed for the pre-school student, this unique class uses imaginative dance class games to develop body coordination (balance, muscle isolation, fine and gross motor skills), their own storytelling and creativity, and social and classroom skills (taking turns and following directions). Limited class size.

Twinkling Stars (ages 3-5)
A sparkling introduction to the world of dance! In this joyful and imaginative class, little ones discover the basics of dance and movement while building strength, coordination, rhythm, and creative expression. Through playful exercises and simple steps, young dancers learn body awareness, the basics of rhythm and music, following the leader and imaginative games in a supportive and nurturing environment. Limited class size ensures each star gets the attention they need to shine brightly!

RISING Stars (ages 5-7)
Young imaginations, take flight! This dynamic and engaging class introduces budding dancers to the magic of ballet with a playful yet focused approach. Through fun movement explorations, students develop strength, rhythm, musicality, and personal expression while learning foundational ballet positions and steps. With small class sizes and personalized attention, your child's confidence and creativity will shine as they embark on their dance journey!

Beginning-Intermediate Ballet (ages 8+)
A welcoming beginner ballet class designed for anyone interested in exploring the fundamentals of ballet in a supportive and inclusive environment! This class introduces dancers to basic ballet technique, posture, and alignment while encouraging grace, body awareness, and confidence. We focus on building strength, balance, and flexibility through gentle barre work, simple center exercises, and movement across the floor.

What to wear/bring
Class Dress Code:
Ladies: Leotard (uniform leotard will be provided to you with Registration Fee); Pink or flesh-toned footed tights; Pink or flesh-toned ballet shoes.
Gentlemen: Black tights/leggings or shorts; White T-shirt or leotard (uniform leotard will be provided to you with Registration Fee); White socks; Black ballet shoes
NOTE: We recommend that dancers come to the studio with dance clothes on, ready to dance. However, students should wear appropriate street shoes for travel to/from the studio: ballet slippers should never be worn outside, and a cover-up should always be worn.
Please label dance slippers and other dance equipment with student initials, so that they can be returned to you if left behind!
Dancers are also welcome to bring a water bottle (again, please label with initials :)
To help dancers focus: Hair should be pulled neatly back; no jewelry, please!
Street shoes are not permitted in the studio on the professional dance floor; please note that we ask everyone (parents and kids alike) to remove street shoes in the waiting area to keep the floor where our young children stretch and put on their shoes clean and safe. Thanks for your understanding!
