Meet Kevin
VITA
Kevin Murdock-Waters is originally from Roseville, California. He started dance lessons at the very young age of 5 but his most significant training took place starting when he was 13, and continued for the next six years, at the San Francisco Ballet School. Kevin then moved to Austin, Texas in 2013. Where he then performed for an assortment of companies such as Ballet Austin, Performa/Dance, Ventana Ballet, the Zach Scott Theatre, and Austin Metamorphosis Dance Ensemble. Some of his favorite roles have been Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet by Stephen Mills, the Dodo Bird in Septime Webre’s ALICE (in Wonderland), the Nutcracker in Ventana Ballet’s The Watchmaker’s Song, as well as other works by Lar Lubovitch, Pam Tanowitz, Justin Peck, and Christopher Wheeldon. Kevin also greatly enjoyed dancing in and creating new roles for Bluegrass Junction and The Mad Sene, both by Jennifer Hart and Performa/Dance.
