Another One Bites the Dust
(…hopefully for the last time!)
HELP KEEP US ON OUR TOES!
Every leap, turn, and landing begins with the floor beneath our feet.
In 2020, you helped us replace our floor—and it’s reduced injury, propelled our rehearsals, and made a huge impact!
However, the surface on top of this professional sub-floor (our “Marley”) is over 20 years old and feels like a skating rink. No matter what we do, the dancers and students of Ballet Fantastique slip, almost every day.
After countless hours of rehearsal, our current Marley is worn and no longer provides the grip that our dancers need to stay safe.
Graceful dancers suddenly turning into surprise comedians as we face-plant. Funny to watch? Absolutely. Fun to dance on? Not so much. A high-quality Marley floor isn’t just a surface—it’s an extension of the dancer’s body. When the floor is slick, every movement suffers.
Help us keep dancers safe and performances strong for many hours of rehearsal and many years to come!
Donate today and make this the last time anyone at BFan literally bites the dust.
Thank you so much for your support for the hours we spend making new art for you!
Studio FLOOR PROJECT GOALS: $6,500 BY SEPT 30
Our Studio is 1,300 sq ft, and we need to raise $6,500 by Sept. 30! That’s just $5 to sponsor one square foot—enough space for a dancer to leap, turn, and create. Own a piece of the floor where artistry begins.
