Fierce. Fun. Creative. Bold.

The Academy of Ballet Fantastique’s Male Scholarship Program began in 2003, giving many boys and young men the opportunity to participate in our esteemed professional training program.

The Academy of Ballet Fantastique is is the official training school of Ballet Fantastique, the only professional contemporary ballet company in residence at the Hult Center. Our boutique professional training school develops the next generation of bold, powerful, well-rounded ballet artists, athletes, and creatives. At The Academy of Ballet Fantastique, relationships are the focus, every dancer means something to us, and our training program is not only driven by athleticism, but also compelled by artistry.

The Academy of Ballet Fantastique believes that a proven, progressive syllabus gives our students the clearest technique, the most versatility, and the greatest experience of success. Over the past hundred-plus years, the Vaganova Method has trained some of the world's greatest and most well-known dancers, including Mikhail Baryshnikov, Rudolf Nureyev, David Hallberg, Sergei Polunin and legendary choreographer George Balanchine, as well as dancers in every respected ballet company in the world.

Recipients of the Male Scholarship Program must show a drive and passion for dance. Applicants must be enrolled at the Academy of Ballet Fantastique for a minimum of three months to be considered for this scholarship, and will be evaluated for technical merit by The Ballet Fantastique artistic leadership.  Scholarship awards vary by level of experience, dedication to The Academy of Ballet Fantastique, and may take financial need into account.
