Thank you so much for your patience and support to keep each other, our community and artists safe!
All artists, patrons, and staff are required to comply with the following safety guidelines. Security will be present to ensure audience members are complying with these and all other applicable safety requirements. Staff reserve the right to remove any non-compliant individual.
*Details are subject to change, based on government ordinances from the CDC and the State of Oregon.
all indoor + events
Audience size + seating
Audience sizes for in-person events—both indoors and outdoors—will be limited. Steps are in place to allow for distance between groups.
Ballet Fantastique is limiting Hult Center Silva Concert Hall audiences to 33% or less for Fall & Holiday 2021 concerts.
Ticketing + livestream options
If you are feeling unwell, please stay home. You can switch to a virtual ticket (offered for all BFan Hult Center concerts), turn your ticket into a tax-deductible donation to BFan, transfer your ticket to a different BFan concert, or pass your ticket along to a friend! Contact us for support with any of these options.
masking
Until further guidance is released from the CDC, requirements for masks will be enforced (last updated: 9/16/21).
INDOOR EVENTS: All audience members ages 3+ are required to be masked in indoor spaces.
OUTDOOR EVENTS: Masks are welcome, but not required for distanced outdoor events. Please bring a mask for use of indoor spaces, including restrooms (audience members ages 3+), or for higher-traffic outdoor areas.
Arrival flow + CONTACTLESS CHECK-IN
We anticipate that all events will sell out prior to opening. We encourage advance, online or phone ticket purchases to limit in-person contact.
Please check your emails for pre-show information including details on all precautions being taken during the check-in process, including suggested arrival times.
ARTISTS + Staff
All artists and staff are fully vaccinated, with regular additional Covid-19 testing (ongoing and increased prior to theater residency to ensure safety for our entire artist team and crew). Dancers will be unmasked for performance events.
Event spaces
A regular cleaning and sanitizing schedule is maintained by venue staff, including all interior buildings used by staff, artists, and patrons. Lobby, restroom, and theater spaces will be professionally cleaned before and after each event.

hult center VACCINATION OR NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST Policy
Proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID test, taken within 48 hours of the performance, will be required for all ages to enter the Hult Center, beginning Sept. 1, 2021 and continuing until further notice. This includes all patrons, performers, staff, and volunteers. More information can be found on the Hult Center's website: HERE.
NEW: free rapid covid-19 testing @ hult center!
In an effort support the vaccine policy and to remove barriers in being able to obtain a COVID-19 test in a timely fashion, the Hult Center has coordinated with Curative Labs to establish an on-site testing and vaccination center! Beginning Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, Curative will begin offering free PCR and antigen testing, as well as Covid-19 vaccinations to patrons and the general public. Testing is available 7 days a week with no appointment, on site at the Hult Center! Drive through or testing from your local pharmacy is also acceptable.
hult center facilities
At the Hult Center, the frequency of cleaning and disinfection has been increased in all areas, especially all high traffic areas and touch points. Electrostatic cleaning equipment has been deployed to ensure an exceptional standard of disinfection. Non-toxic cleaners kill SARS Co-V2 within one minute of contact.
Air filtration systems
The Silva Concert Hall exchanges more than 1.5 million cubic feet of air in just over 20 minutes. Silva Concert Hall and Soreng Theater completely exchange air 2.5 times an hour. The Hult Center’s HVAC System is:
High capacity exchange, utilizing 100% fresh air directly from the outside.
A plenum-based system, which is excellent for mitigating airborne transmission of viruses. Fresh air enters from the top of the room and moves out through the floor, where it exits to the outside.
Filtered prior to heating or cooling, fresh air is drawn through filters which are checked and changed regularly by trained HVAC technicians.
